could you help me installing it?

on my openSUSE 10.2 i'm doing this:

sudo mv /home/anubis/56896-message.tuxvsmsn /boot/message

simply replacing old message fiel.. but when i reboot grub say:

INVALID FILE FORMAT

I don't know very well linux and I have never use Suse. I know only to install on my Kubuntu the grub-gfxboot and it was working. To install it I use this tutorial http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=208855&highlight=gfxboot.
I hope you to make it working with this help.
For any problem write my again.

hy thanks, seems thatopensuse have an old version of gfxboot.. i have to install it http://digilander.libero.it/bobmarley2002/grub-gfxboot-0.97-6.i386.rpm

now it work.

Can you change it to newer gfxboot api? Its very nice, but it works only on older versions of gfxboot :(

i discovered that its not gfxboot version problem, its grub gfxmenu patch problem :/

Can u tell which version of this patch u have? and which grub version you have?
