 Will it be in KDE4?

This is great! Have you considered submitting Taskbar v2 to be part of Plasma (http://plasma.kde.org/cms/1113) in KDE4?

I really like this a lot! I've been looking for a way to make the backgound of each button on the taskbar transparent. This is an awesome applet!

Thank you!

 ??

I don't really understand the way this is posted. Are you simply providing the .deb such as available here http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=25615 ? Or are you claiming credit for the original code available here http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=16261 ? You should be specific about what you are posting, and you should credit the original author if you just packaged it.

I had no need to download it, I have used it for quite some time. I do think that you should give credit to the original author, when you don't the post can be misleading.

If all you're doing is packaging software for a distro, I don't think he's threatening the the author of the code. Which by the way, isn't even maintaining the source code anymore, let alone binary files. If I write code that's gnu, I don't really care if someone packages it to be widely used by people who don't know how to compile it themselves. I highly doubt that the author of the code is worried about not gaining notariety through people dropping his name every time they decide to package his software. Which he isn't maintaining. Wait, didn't I already mention that?

A nice feature should be adding support to re-order apps with drag and drop like this:
