Description:

CornerXMMS for SK 0.1 (GPL)
---------------------------
Rewritten for SuperKaramba by Adam Geitgey

Originally by Stefano Mozzi

Graphics from CornerAMP by 9 of Nine and Evil Pumpkin.

----------------

Contributors:
- Daniel Rodríguez Trotiño

--------------------------------

Instructions:

Just open the theme in SuperKaramba. For the theme to do anything useful,
you would want to have xmms running. The buttons on the theme control xmms
as usual and the theme displays the current song information.

Changelog:

0.1:

Intial release. Not all of the little buttons that are in the gDesklets version are implemented yet. If there is interest, I'll finish it off. But its fully usable right now.

Well, I just upgrade the karamba to 0.33 and worked the buttons, very good!
On a future release, can you put a volume button? It'll be very useful too. And congratulations for the theme!

 Original Window?

by bradfordjamesloos on: Oct 20 2003

Hello,

First of all, I just want to say this is great! I've been looking some something just like this. I was just wondering if there was some way to hide the original skinned XMMS window (besides pushing it off the side of the desktop).

Thanks,

Brad

 Buttons

by raphous on: Oct 29 2003

Strangely, only "Prev", "Next" and "Stop" buttons work on my comp...

I can't figure out how to have Play / Pause / Eject work as well...!

Anyone got a suggestion ?

 Title and Time???

 by ViperX883 on: Dec 4 2003

I cannot get the title or time to display on the theme. Is there a package I need to install to obtain the xmms sensor, or is it somethign else???

Thanks!

I have the same problem, SK v0.33 - the buttons work but no title or time. I installed xmmsctrl, xmms-devel, and pyxmms for good measure but none of them seemed to do anything.

In fact, none of the xmms sensors work in any SK theme. I tried to make an xmms section for cynapses-karamba but had the same problem.

Weird.

I figured it out. You have to install the libxmms1-devel package (which provides something called xmms-config) and the xmms-ctrl package, and then recompile SuperKaramba.

If you read the ./configure output without the devel package installed it says that xmms-config is not found, but it doesn't throw an error.

I couldn't find any Mandrake packages compatible with my current xmms packages so I had to upgrade them all to get a working set.
